To put that time frame into perspective... The United States wasn't even the United States until 1776 !!! So this is an OLD house.
We closed on the house July 31,2012. And besides a few immediate need projects like updating the breaker box, insulating the well head, and replacing a relay switch on the well pump so we could have water back after 5 days, we are finally starting our "planned" DIY projects.
First up....
Basement supports and stopping the water from getting in every year when snow melts.
